I'm loving vests right now as an easy way to pull together an outfit. They've been on the scene for a while as a casual accoutrement, but I like them better with a dressier look. The waistcoat, as the Brits call it, can top a ruffled shirt and pencil skirt, or a flowy blouse and baggy trousers - perfect for fall! Or, spice up a little black dress with a colorful vest a la Yves Saint Laurent's stunning blue spin on the traditional "le smoking" jacket.
